The Brookwood Church internship program is designed to give you the introduction, education and hands on experience needed to lay the groundwork to fulfill the call that God has placed on your life. The 2021/2022 Program will span 22 weeks beginning in September and ending in May with breaks for Holidays. It will include: classroom instruction, homework, one on one mentorship, and practical hands on training and experience to give you a great introduction to what full time ministry looks like here at Brookwood Church.

Education

You'll receive a foundational understanding of the Bible, and ministry, that is sure to help you as you pursue your call.

Community

Join the community of interns at Brookwood to pursue Christ and develop alongside one another.

One-on-one Mentorship

Every intern will be supervised one-on-one by one of our Ministry leaders.

Hands-on Experience

You'll be exposed to all areas of a ministry and will be able to practice and implement the things you are learning.

Discover your Unique Strengths and Gifts

Through our curriculum and experience, you'll leave our program with a greater understanding of who God has called you to be and how you can best serve Him with your gifts and talents.

You can explore a specific concentration/ministry and if you don't have one, we can help you identify one based on your areas of interest.

FAQ's

One of the goals of the internship program is to help prepare individuals for ministry, whether that be a position with a church or a Christian non-profit etc. The Brookwood Internship Program in no way guarantees employment, either at Brookwood or elsewhere, to participants that complete the program.

Ministry leaders will work with your schedule (work and/or school) to develop a plan.

1 hour a night minimum should be dedicated to homework and preparation for the next weeks class.

Application process is open for 1 month. We will schedule interviews the following month of the application process. You will interview with the Intern Team first and then we will set up a time for you to interview with your area-specific ministry leader or pastor. Upon completing these interviews we will let you know if you are accepted into the program.
