Details:
Care Ministries Training equips people to serve in a variety of ministries, such as lay counseling, marriage counseling, or leading a support group. If you believe God is moving you to deepen your relationship with Him and strengthen your ability to care for others, this 10-week class is for you. Care Ministries will provide dinner for the first two classes. Class material will be provided at the first class.
The class is divided into 3 modules:
- It All Starts With You.
- Relationship Development.
- Practical Application of Caring.
Completion of the Care Ministries Training is a prerequisite to ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs of others as a Care Volunteer.
- Additional training is required to be considered as a lay counselor and for volunteer roles in ministries such as Celebrate Recovery, Support Groups and Financial Care Mentoring.
Registration is required.
