Students in grades 5–8 and their parents are invited to participate in Burly Girly. This class offers parents a way to find support and direct their students during this time of life, without having to go through it alone.
Passport2Purity® (P2P)
will assist you in building heart-to-heart communication with your student while laying a foundation of purity that will prepare them for the turbulent years ahead. In the first class, we’ll show you what P2P is and how it can benefit you in having THE TALK. Families will then have several months to plan a weekend getaway with their student to go over the materials, have fun and grow closer together.
On Monday, April 11, we’ll come back together to celebrate that you and your student have conquered this milestone and have had THE TALK. You’ll get to write and read a letter to encourage your student and communicate your hopes for them in the years to come as they grow closer to Christ. The guys will engage in some axe throwing and the girls will participate in a cupcake war.
INTRODUCTORY MEETING
- Sunday, January 30.
- 10:15–10:45 am in South Campus Gym.
- Cost: $30 per person includes the "Passport2Purity® Getaway Kit" by Dennis and Barbara Rainey and closing ceremony.
