Academy Mission Statement
The foundation for Christian education is found in Proverbs 22:6:
Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.
Brookwood Preschool Academy assists parents in providing a Christian instruction and training. The academy curriculum is designed to nurture children in their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical needs. We provide spiritual development through prayer and reverence of prayer, Bible time each day to build on truth of creation by God, being loved by God, and love for one another.

Academy Inclement Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather, please listen carefully to our local radio stations or TV channels 4, 7 or 21, to see if Brookwood Church is going to be open, delayed or closed. We will be listed as Brookwood Church / Brookwood Preschool Academy. You can also call the church main number 688.8200 and listen to the recording or visit the website.

All tuition is drafted from your bank account by tuition express. Fulltime tuition is drafted every Friday, part time tuition is drafted the last Friday of every month. Part time children can be dropped off as early as 8:50 am and can be picked up in car line by 1 pm.
Late Fees
After five minutes, a late fee of $1 will be charged. After 15 minutes the charge will be $2 per minute. It is the parent’s responsibility to let us know if you are going to be late.
Curriculum Overview
We use “Wee Learn,” “Sunny Hollow Press,” and "Creative Curriculum.” Individual and group time is an important part of our program. Play is a child’s work. We focus on the process, not the product. The National Association for the Education of Young Children believes that developmentally appropriate practices for each age group contributes to the child learning valuable social and thinking skills.
The process develops in our classroom centers. A sampling of our classroom centers includes: literacy area, blocks, transportation, manipulatives, home/dramatic play, sensory play, table activities, science and art.
