Interested in joining the Praise Choir?
In the Brookwood Praise Choir, it's all about Him ... not about us. There is no activity more important in the human heart than to praise and worship God.
- What should I expect from the Praise Choir?
The Brookwood Praise Choir will allow you an opportunity to serve God by bringing honor and glory to His name through praise and Worship. You don't have to audition, just a willingness to use your God-given talent to praise Him.
The choir will give you an opportunity to bond with a family of musicians who have a passion for praise and worship like you do. It will also allow you to grow in relationship with Jesus as we work together on the music and the message of the music that we sing. The choir will also equip you with musical skills that will help you grow and enhance your God-given talents.
- What is expected of me as part of the Praise Choir?
We ask that you faithfully participate in all rehearsals and performances. That you learn your music each month. Allow God to grow you and shape you as He shapes our choir into a vessel that He can use. And most importantly live a life of worship and praise each day of the week.
- When and where?
The choir meets for rehearsals on Wednesday nights from 6 - 8 pm in the Auditorium. There are occasional additional rehearsals, but those dates will be communicated during the regular Wednesday night rehearsals. On Sunday when the choir helps lead in worship, it sings for all three services. Occasionally the choir is asked to participate in special performances that may require additional rehearsal time or different performance times. Childcare is available on Wednesday nights.
