Water of Life Mission Trip Interest Meeting
Sunday, March 7, 11:40, Meeting Room 1 in the Church Office
Water of Life will be taking teams to Liberia to provide clean water, medical attention, children’s ministry and Bible teaching. Roland Bergeron will lead these teams. Adults in good physical condition with the ability to withstand rigorous work and tropical heat are invited to join us. The cost for this trip is approximately $3,500 per person. At Brookwood, teams of people work together to provide a missions ministry in which everyone can participate. Missions Pastor Fenton Moorhead and Missions Assistant Karen Matthew are constantly working to provide for our missionaries who are in the field full-time and those who participate in short-term trips.
Our mission trip leaders are a key part of the missions vision of Brookwood Church. These include Roland Bergeron, Andy Patterson, Daniel Greene, Charlie Dieterich, John Howard, Stu Lenning, Nick Nalepa, Gene Chavis and many others who work to provide mission experiences for the people of Brookwood.

What can you do to support missions?
Pray
Sign up to receive our prayer updates for our missionaries and mission teams. The number one thing missionaries ask for is prayer support.
Pray for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. Ephesians 6:18-19 (NIV)
Give
All want their mission dollar to go the greatest distance and do the most good. All missions donations go 100% to the mission field. Every gift is significant. Simply make your check to Brookwood Church and designate your missions offering as God directs with a choice from the below items:
Liberia Missions
- $1,200 per year supports one of the 19 pastors and evangelists that carry on the expanding work in 41 churches and 20 preaching points.
- $3,500 purchases a motorcycle for a pastor to cover several churches and preaching points in numerous villages.
- $3,000 keeps a Jesus Film team at work for one year.
- $2,500 provides training for 100 pastors in reaching oral learners.
Water of Life
- $5,000 provides a new water well that will change the future of thousands of people.
- $1,500 provides for the rehabilitation of an unusable well and gives an entire village hope.

Give directly to support a missionary or sponsor a needy child
- Missionary support: Give support to our missionaries who raise the funds to live and serve. Instructions on how to give directly through missionary sending agencies is available by contacting Karen Matthew, 864.688.8307.
- Sponsor a child through VisionTrust. For $35 a month, you can sponsor a neglected or abused child or orphan and provide Christian love and nurture, education, medical care, and the necessities of life. Contact Andy or Pam Patterson or visit the VisionTrust website for more information.
- Remember every gift is significant.
