What to Expect

What should I wear?
Our approach is casual. We are more concerned about your spiritual journey than what you wear, so dress comfortably, bring your family and friends, and enjoy complimentary coffee while you attend service.

What can I expect?
You can expect a variety of musical styles designed specifically to provide an atmosphere of worship. The messages are biblical and practical in order to help you find your potential in Christ. We utilize video, imagery and other creative expressions to communicate God’s message to you. We do our best to make the Sunday morning Brookwood experience the best hour of your week.

What do you have for kids?
Our Children’s Ministry leads little ones to understand who God is so they can become whole-hearted followers of Jesus. Children’s programs for birth through grade 5 are held during all service times on Sunday mornings.

Babies through 4 years interact with loving adults who engage them in Bible- centered activities to communicate God’s word using fun, age-appropriate methods.

K5 - grade 5 begin with worship and singing in a large group environment. We engage the children with interactive discussions, drama, puppets and video. Afterwards, the children go to classrooms in smaller groups where the leaders reinforce the Bible lessons they have just learned through activities and discussion.

Special Friends Ministry for special needs children meets during the 9 and 10:30 am services on Sunday morning.

Events for children are held year round and include Parent-Child Dedications, Mom’s Morning Out, overnight camps, movies, swimming, Adventure Week, discipleship classes (Small Groups) and more.

Do I have to participate in the offering?
The offering is for attendees who consider Brookwood their church home. Instead of you giving something, we want you to get something.

If it has been a long time since you have been to church, Brookwood has you in mind. We know there are a lot of things you are thinking about when visiting a church. Hopefully, answering some of these questions ahead of time will not only encourage you to visit Brookwood, but will allow you to connect with the hope and encouragement God has for you when you do visit.

What does Move to the Middle mean?
Our Move to the Middle campaign is designed to accommodate our continued growth and help welcome newcomers and guests to our services by asking everyone to sit towards the middle of the rows. You may be asked by an usher to move over a few seats; this allows us to seat as many people as efficiently as possible. Thank you for helping make room for others.
