These children are being cared for by the Sylom Pastors League in Andhra Pradesh, India. 100% of your sponsor contributions are used to provide for these hope-filled children. KAKINADA INDIA – Pastor Praveen and the Sylom Pastors League

Pastor Praveen’s Father received the “Best Teacher” award on September 6 from Government Officials. 1250 students were able to attend the ceremony and watch him receive this award. It was a very special moment for our Missionary Partners in India!
		Pastor Praveen leads hundreds of pastors who reach out to villages where there is no church. Brookwood has provided a van for this ministry and video equipment to show the Jesus Film. The people of these villages are called Dalits and have been taught they are impure, worthless, “untouchable” and treated as outcasts. The gospel of Christ teaches them that they are of infinite value, accepted, and touchable. The Sylom Pastors League also has a Children’s Home that cares for over 300 destitute children.

Rock Quarry Slave Children: Praveen has been going to rock quarries to show compassion for children who work as slaves because their parents are in debt. Through the efforts of Pastor Praveen and his father 350 children have been released and are now being cared for in village churches and the children’s home in Kakinada. Brookwood has been providing funds to care for these children. Pray for a long term solution to helping the thousands of rock quarry children.
