Switch - Grades 5 and 6

Switch is a ministry designed for students in grades 5 and 6.  It helps students bridge the gap between our Children’s Ministry and Middle School Ministry.

Switch focuses on helping kids learn to:

  • Make wise choices
  • Develop and sustain healthy beliefs
  • Develop healthy relationships with other students their age
  • Begin the journey to their teen years

Switch meets every Sunday morning at
9 and 11 am • Main Building Chapel

C-Groups

What Is A C-Group?
A C-Group is a small group consisting of 8-10 students and 1 or 2 adult leaders that meet each week during the school year to hang out with friends, have fun, and learn more about God and what He wants to do in our lives.

When Do They Meet?
Groups meet during the school year in homes on various weeknights depending on when the members of the group are available.

At this time all our C-Groups are full. We will form new groups at the start of the next school year. Registration for those groups will open in August. Check back here for a link to get your student registered.

If you are interested in being a group leader or hosting a group in your home, please contact J.C. for more information and an application.

Why Should I Join A C-Group?
Being alone can be tough. C-groups are designed to connect you with other believers who also want to grow in their relationship with God. Through your interaction with other believers, you will be encouraged and challenged to grow in your faith, while in a safe environment where you are free to ask questions. C-Groups are a great way to learn more about God and grow in your relationship with him and other believers.

What Should I Expect?
You should expect to have fun as you build friendships with other believers and learn more about God.

Can I Be With My Friends?
Yes, ultimately your friendships with other believers are a vital part of what makes C-groups so great! You will have a chance to tell us the names of the friends you would like to have in your C-Group (same grade, same gender). We cannot allow groups to get too large but will do our best to place everyone in a group that best fits their needs.

Interested in Baptism?

At Brookwood Church we know students often have questions about baptism. Why should I be baptized? I've already been baptized, do I have to do it again? Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked?

Answers to these commonly asked questions are found in the Bible. We believe it clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ.
