Areas of Support

Cancer Support Group [show]
This group is for adults who are experiencing or have experienced cancer of any type. The group usually meets the second Wednesday of the month in Room C215 from 6:30–8 pm.
  • In our winter session, we will openly discuss cancer, it’s effect on your life, and feelings associated with its diagnosis and treatment.
  • Winter brings a new 8-week series called Hope That Lives,  by Kim Turkington, written out of Kim’s own experience with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2005. This series will run from January 14–May 13.
  • Cost is free. See Upcoming Support Groups below for more information and to register.
It is our prayer that the insights and direction provided through the Cancer Support Group bring hope, encouragement and strength for all who not only GO through cancer, but GROW through it in the Lord.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds… Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.
Psalm 147: 3-5 (NIV)
