Areas of Support

GriefShare: A Grief Recovery Group [show]
This thirteen-week grief support group allows an avenue of open sharing and support. By sharing together, we can learn from one another about how to process our own grief and help encourage those around us suffering from grief. Whether your loved one has just died, you are anticipating a death, or you have grief from the past, this group could be a good place to start the healing process.
  • Cost: $15 for the workbook.
  • See Upcoming Support Groups below for more information and to register.

Celebrate Recovery [show]
Celebrate Recovery provides separate groups for men and women that are safe and confidential. These groups are designed to equip individuals with the tools to cope with many different life issues—including anger, alcohol or drug dependency, food struggles, grief, controlling behaviors, family members with addiction issues, victims of abuse, those seeking sexual purity, and other issues.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday night at 6:30 pm in the Chapel. The Café opens at 5:30 pm with a meal and is open after groups are finished with complimentary coffee, healthy snacks and desserts.

The Landing for Teens [show]
The Landing is a support ministry especially designed for students in grades 7-12. Students can share and be accepted when life gets crazy, and learn steps to deal with the challenges of life. Join us each Thursday night 6:30-8:30 pm at South Campus. Enjoy dinner at 6 pm for only $2. For more info, click here or call 864.688.8228.

Divorce Care for Men and Women [show]
DivorceCare is a 13-week class for men and women who are legally divorced. It offers a healthy recovery process within a safe and secure environment. DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. These groups are led by people who understand what you’re going through and want to help. Through these classes, you’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past, and look forward to rebuilding your life.
