Benevolence

We all have had times where we need to ask for help. The Brookwood Benevolence Ministry supports families that are facing difficult financial situations by providing information about church and community resources and by educating individuals in financial management and life skills. Resources are also available to supply household assistance and groceries.

Benevolence Assistance

Pass It Forward

The Pass It Forward Ministry strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ ministering to Brookwood people and those in our community without a church home. We provide temporary assistance to individuals and families who find themselves in difficult circumstances and cannot afford to pay for needed yard and/or home repairs.

Volunteers have a compassion and a willingness to step into someone else’s life circumstance and give them a hand. While many of our volunteers have specialized skills such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC repair and painting, this is not a requirement to serve in this ministry. Anyone with a willing heart and servant spirit is invited to join us.

The aim of Pass It Forward is to ultimately build relationships with the people we assist and encourage them to connect with Christ and the church body. We are a relational ministry that provides home repair as a bridge to reach that goal.
