Sunday Serving Opportunities
Angel Food: learn more
Take orders for Angel Food. Handle money.
Bookstore: learn more
Assist members and guests in locating reference materials for purchase or check-out. Operate a cash register and handle money.
Café Express
Make and serve specialty coffees, drinks, and other miscellaneous food/beverage items. Deal with coffee machinery, cash register, food/beverage, and money.
Chair Set-Up Team
Set out all chairs for Worship Service
Children: learn more
Complimentary Coffee
Brews and serves complimentary coffee while welcoming members and guests to Brookwood
Deaf / Hard of Hearing learn more
Provide sign language interpreting at the 10:30 am service every Sunday morning
General Parking
Facilitate organized and efficient traffic flow in the parking lots before and after each service.
Greeter
Smile and greet members and guests who enter the building. Greeters at interior doors also provide bulletins to guests and members entering the auditorium.
Guest Services
Provide information on all areas of Brookwood and its activities and services.
Host
Assist in the “New to Brookwood” experience by receiving new guests from a New to Brookwood Parking Team Member and escorting them through the church, assisting in any check-in processes, providing information, and ultimately passing to an Usher Team Member.
Main Café
Make and serve specialty coffees, drinks, and other miscellaneous food/beverage items. Deal with coffee machinery, cash register, food/beverage, and money.
Medical Response Team
Act in a medical capacity for first responding when a medical incident occurs. Certain requirements apply.
New to Brookwood Parking
Begin the “New to Brookwood” experience by escorting guests who are New to Brookwood from the parking lot into the main building.
Next Step Ministry
Provide a smile, an open door and caring guidance to members and guests interested in taking the "Next Step" in their Christian experience. Volunteers must have a passion and gift for evangelism and/or counseling, and serving people. Volunteers help determine and guide each person as they take the next step in their personal journey to learn more about Jesus, to understand the Bible better (through small groups or classes), or how to grow in their relationship with God. Volunteers must be intuitive, have some prior experience in this area, or they might be naturally gifted through the Holy Spirit to serve in this area.
Offering Collector
Volunteers pass the offering basket during the Sunday worship services.
Production
Assist in the production of the Worship Service by any of the following: camera operating, running ProPresenter, direction, media duplication, production, sound tech, etc.
Safety Team
Provide safety to Brookwood members and guests and their families. Certain Requirements and training apply.
Special Event Sales
Assist in the Concourse during Special Event Promotions selling tickets or promotional items. Operate a cash register and handle money.

Welcome members and guests and assist in finding an open seat for Worship.

Sing or play an instrument for worship services

Data entry from various classes, rosters and other Brookwood events.
Decorators
Help decorate the auditorium and/or concourse for special events and holidays.
Duplication
Record, duplicate, and distribute Brookwood sermons.
Financial Ministry
Lay-lead ministry that assists people with classes, small groups, and one-on-one mentoring about financial development or concerns over financial problems using biblically-based principles.
Event Parking
Facilitate organized and efficient traffic flow in the parking lots for special events at Brookwood.
Event Medical Response Team
Act in a medical capacity for first responding when a medical incident occurs during a special event at Brookwood. Certain requirements apply.
Event Safety
Provide safety to Brookwood members and guests and their families during special events at Brookwood. Certain Requirements and training apply.
Helping Hands
Provides temporary assistance to members or attendees who find themselves in need of help with transportation, household chores, and errands due to recent illness or hospitalization, the disabled and elderly.
Marriage Mentors
Serve as a short-term support team for couples struggling with marriage problems.
Meal Teams
Provide meals for families experiencing death, hospitalization, illness or a new birth.
New Mom’s Reception
Help organize and decorate for a reception for new moms.
Next Step Ministry

One-on-One Discipleship
Trained disciples mentor new believers, or anyone wanting to review the basics of Christianity, using a ten session, mentoring style, relationship based Bible study. The goal is for mature believers to help disciples grow more in love with God and strengthen their relationship with Him.
Photography Team
Photograph church members, events and ministries at various opportunities throughout the year.
Prayer Ministry
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to give glory and honor to Jesus Christ and to give each Christian at Brookwood an opportunity and a place to grow a deeper, more meaningful personal prayer life by praying, interceding, petitioning, and seeking God's mercy and grace on behalf of each other, the church, community, nation, and world. Prayer Ministry offers 2 areas: Brookwood Intercessory Prayer Room open continuously 24-hours, 7 days-a-week, 365 days-a-year. After orientation, you may sign-up for one hour or more a week to pray in the Prayer Room. Only scheduled, trained Intercessors will have access to the Prayer Room. Brookwood Prayer Team meets at the church every Tuesday night at 7pm to pray for Brookwood's vision / mission, people, activities and special intentions.
Premarital Mentors
Married couples mentor engaged couples through a six session premarital preparation course.
Print Shop
Copying, mailing, sorting mail, stocking paper and supplies, putting together bound books, monitoring copy machines, keeping racks supplied and straight, etc.
Program Stuffers
Stuff bulletin inserts into the bulletin jackets for Sunday morning Worship
Receptionist Volunteers
Answer phones, assist callers or guests to Brookwood in finding answers to frequently asked questions during administrative office hours.
Visitation Team
To show God's love to Brookwood family members through visitation of those who are in the hospital, nursing home, or homebound.
