We make every effort to ensure your child's safety. All volunteers in the Children's Ministry go through an extensive process before they can volunteer including a background check, policies and procedures training, sexual abuse prevention training and a shadowing process.
If you come to Brookwood and want your child to participate in worship in a fun and welcoming environment geared to their age and interests, this is what you'll experience:
Children can be checked in at any of the welcome stations located in the Children's Ministry area at the west entrance of the Brookwood Main Campus.
When you check-in your child you'll be offered a key tag with a barcode that has your check-in information. This tag speeds up the check-in process even more! Bring it back the next time you come and the computer will even remember the classroom your child was in the last time they were here.
For each child you check-in you'll receive a unique set of security tags. One name tag for the child to wear, one name tag for the child’s teacher, and one security tag for your family to claim your child(ren) at the end of the service. Enjoy the service! If you're needed we'll page you using the last four digits of the phone number you provided. Displays are in the Concourse and inside the Auditorium.
At the end of the service go directly to your child’s classroom. The unique code on your security tag and your child’s name tag will be verified before your child leaves.
